ItвЂ™s safe to assume that he angered Tom on purpose so that he can impress his wife by being aggressive. After Tom seemingly could take no more and got into a fight with Flizzy, the star is taken off by Uncle Ruckus and winks as heвЂ™s being forced away. Tom confronts Flizzy with the news, and the singer insinuates that heвЂ™s going to take his wife and his family. After a dinner gone wrong and Tom spending a wild night hanging with Flizzy, Tom reviews the robbery footage and discovers that the whole robbery is nothing more than an elaborate lie. The R & B artistвЂ™s music (namely вЂњI Will Do Your WifeвЂќ and вЂњWhite Wife BootyвЂќ) and and general demeanor doesnвЂ™t help the situation. After taking the case, things only get more strained as Tom is certain that Flizzy wants his wife and that Sara wants to meet him to вЂњdo himвЂќ. Tom, like he has in seasons past, is having relationship problems with his wife Sara. Ironically, Tom was the prosecutor in the R.

This parody which was done in classic Boondocks fashion, restored a lot of my hope in this season. His girlfriendвЂ™s name even was a mixture of Chris and Rihanna which made it even more apparent. It didnвЂ™t take long for the viewer to realize that Flizzy was a spoof of Chris Brown, which I found absolutely hilarious. I was a little surprised that this seasonвЂ™s show started with an episode starring Tom instead of the Freeman family, but the idea didnвЂ™t bother me too much. The episode revolves around everyoneвЂ™s favorite defense attorney from Woodcrest, Tom Dubois and his defense of fictional R & B singer Pretty Boy Flizzy. Luckily, instead of the disaster that I thought IвЂ™d see, I saw a funny episode that reminded me of why I had enjoyed The Boondocks in the past. As a long time Boondocks fan, the news that Aaron McGruder wasnвЂ™t involved in the production of the fourth season left me a little confused and worried about the showвЂ™s well-being.

Starting off, is the premiere of the fourth season: вЂњPretty Boy FlizzyвЂќ.ДЇirstly, IвЂ™d like to mention that I was expecting this episode to be a little disappointing. IвЂ™ll be reviewing every episode in the current season of The Boondocks a day or two after it airs.

Below are my thoughts on the (maybe) final episode of The Boondocks.

So yeah, thatвЂ™s the season and (maybe) the season. Fitting because even though this episode was the finale, The BoondocksВ still limped across the finish line for the season. With hot-button issues like bullying, prejudice against homosexualit,y & prejudice against disabilities, it had some high points in terms of humor but failedВ hard on others (The theme of this whole season). With that being said, I can say that вЂњThe New BlackвЂќ felt a little like the McGruder era of The Boondocks. They are not making much noise about it and the previous season of The Boondocks was initially suppose to be itвЂ™s last. I say suppose because itвЂ™s hard to say with Adult Swim.
